Viveka Hospital stands as one of the pioneering psychiatric care centres in Kerala, established in 1978 with a vision to bring structured, compassionate mental health treatment to the region. Malabar's first psychiatric Hospital
Our journey began under the leadership of Dr. K Abdu Rahiman, who laid the cornerstone of specialised psychiatric care in Kerala. His vision was to create a safe, structured space for mental wellness at a time when such care was limited and often misunderstood.

Today, the hospital is led by Dr. Sabu Rahiman, who brings over 25 years of clinical expertise in general psychiatry, schizophrenia, adolescent mental health, and addiction care. Under his guidance, the hospital continues to expand its clinical depth and compassionate approach.
